Dr. Clara Ike, DNP, FNP-BC, APRN, FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner (NRCME), is a dedicated and highly experienced family nurse practitioner committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings. With a strong background in both acute and chronic disease management, Dr. Ike provides comprehensive care in family practice—blending evidence-based medicine with holistic approaches to promote overall health and well-being.
Known for excellent communication and a collaborative care style, Dr. Ike empowers patients through education, preventive care, and personalized treatment plans. With extensive experience in urgent care, geriatric treatment, and primary care services, Dr. Ike ensures that each patient receives attentive, high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. Dr. Ike is also a FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner, qualified to perform DOT medical examinations for commercial drivers, helping ensure safety and compliance with federal health regulations.

Dr. Ike holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Science in Nursing—Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. With decades of hands-on clinical experience, Dr. Ike has built a strong foundation in patient assessment, diagnostic interpretation, and therapeutic intervention.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Dr. Ike regularly participates in continuing education to stay current with best practices in modern healthcare. Clinical expertise includes preventive care, laboratory diagnostics, chronic disease management, and health promotion. Dr. Ike is also highly skilled patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration to support optimal outcomes.
Clinical Experience & Leadership
Comprehensive care backed by decades of leadership and practice
Dr. Ike provides a full spectrum of primary care services includes conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, performing minor procedures, and coordinating care with specialists.
Dr. Ike has a strong focus on preventive medicine—offering well-child exams, adult physicals, immunizations, and counseling on lifestyle modifications. Additionally, Dr. Ike provides STD screening and treatment and patient education to support long-term wellness.
As an FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner, Dr. Ike performs DOT physicals in accordance with federal guidelines, evaluating commercial drivers’ health and fitness for duty while promoting roadway safety.
Prior to this role, Dr. Ike served as Director of Nursing at Conquest Health Care for a decade, where leadership responsibilities included overseeing nursing staff, managing patient care operations, and ensuring high standards of clinical performance. Earlier in her career, Dr. Ike spent 20 years as a Registered Nurse, delivering high-quality care in fast-paced environments and managing complex patient conditions and is committed to excellence in every aspect of care.
